Aluminium heatsinks for graphics card memory

AABCOOLING Ram Heatsink 1 is a set of 8 small aluminium heatsinks for passive cooling of graphics card memory and other electronic components.

Memory module manufacturers often fit inefficient heatsinks or none at all. When overclocked at increased voltage, the chips generate a lot of heat that has to be dissipated effectively for the hardware to run stably.

Aluminium keeps the heatsink lightweight and provides good thermal conductivity. Each heatsink has self-adhesive thermal tape on its underside, ensuring good contact with the chip.

Applications

The heatsinks can be mounted on:

• graphics card memory chips (VGA RAM 12 × 12 mm),
• memory modules,
• integrated circuits and other electronic components that generate a lot of heat.

Installation

1. Clean the surface of the chip.
2. Remove the protective film from the tape on the underside of the heatsink.
3. Stick the heatsink onto the cleaned chip.
